Dr. Bruce Narramore

Dr. Bruce Narramore is a well-known Christian psychologist and author of nine books including Help! I’m a Parent and Freedom From Guilt. Bruce was the founding Dean of the Rosemead School of Psychology and is a Fellow of the Divisions of Clinical Psychology and Psychologists Interested in Religious Issues of the American Psychological Association. Bruce will be teaching personality dynamics, and coping with psychopathology on a missionary team or agency.

Kathy Narramore

Kathy Narramore served for fifteen years as Missions Pastor at the Whittier Area Community Church. She had responsibility for equipping and offering ongoing support to more than forty missionary families. Kathy is an MK and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Barnabas International and OC International.

Dr. Tim and Tammy Friesen

Tim Friesen is a licensed psychologist who is the Founding Director of Cornerstone Counseling and Consulting Center in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Tammy is an educator who teaches at secondary and college levels. Tim specializes in working with families and children. He will discuss adjustment problems of children and dealing with anger in families and on missionary teams.

Pam Davis

Pam is a licensed professional counselor who has lived in Thailand since 1989. She has served as a teacher and home school consultant and specializes in counseling children and families.

Tim and Cindy Hibma

Tim is a licensed Master's Social Worker who specializes in working with adults and families. Cindy is an RN who also serves ad Office Administrator for Cornerstone Counseling Foundation.

Dr. William Hoppe

Dr. Hoppe is a medical doctor with 25 years experience in psychiatry. Bill moved to Thailand four years ago along with Le Ann, his wife, and four of their five children. He serves as a consultant for missionaries throughout Asia. Bill will be lecturing on the use of psychotropic medications and will be available for consultations during the seminar.

Dr. Bill Kirwan

Dr. Bill Kirwan is a Christian psychologist and ordained minister who has served on the faculties of Covenant Seminary and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is the author of Biblical Concepts for Christian Counseling and has served on the Board of Directors of the World Presbyterian Mission.

John and Becky Leverington

John and Becky are licensed Marriage and Family Therapists serving with SIL. In addition to providing counseling and crisis intervention to missionaries they offer consultation for mission administrators regarding personnel issues and child abuse prevention and response. John and Becky will lead one of the missionary enrichment groups and be available for individual counseling and consultation.

Dr. Keith and Ginny Edwards

Dr. Keith Edwards is Professor of Psychology at Biola University . He specializes in couples’ counseling and therapy for stress, anxiety, and depression. Keith has counseled and lectured at the Narramore Christian Foundation’s Seminars for Ministers and Missionaries for more than twenty years. Keith and Ginny will lead a marriage enrichment group and be available for couples counseling and consultation.

Dr. Dave and Sharon Wickstrom

Dr. Dave Wickstrom is an MK who is co-founder of the annual Mental Health and Missions Conference held in the U.S. Dave and Sharon travel extensively ministering to missionaries in various regions of the world. Dave will be teaching on stress management, and career development for missionaries and MKs. Sharon will be assisting with the administration of the seminar.
